I realise Atkins made it but it took some scoring all the same. I know Warrington where tired but he just ghosted through and I honestly don't think there is another Trinity player who would have done it that well. He has a knack of scoring, an X-Factor of sorts.

Now I'm not getting carries away but is there a more natural attacking player than george in the squad. He isn't up there yet with Blanch or Haley, I certainly think he isn't ready yet.

What I like is that he is a throwback to an older style of winger. He is very quick, but unlike Blanch and halley his style isn't based on power and straight on speed. This lad can step and body swerve, has tremendous balance and poise and is a really gracefull player to watch. He is one of those players who's running style looks effortless and one for whom 80 meters appears a jog (in a good way).

Find this boy space and get his confidence up and he will score the kind of wonder tries from wingers we rarely see these days. Yes I know he is suspect when handling kicks so there is a concern. However I'd risk it where I wouldn't from Grix at F/B who can quite happily play elsewhere.

I think the point I'm making is it's nice to see an out and out winger and possibly ceentre in the future who is a natural.

Anyway I have probably destroyed his career now

Anyway back to Luke George.

Took his try extremely well, albeit against a tiring defence.Looks like he has pace to burn.
It certainly looks like he is benefiting and developing from the coaching at Wakefield.

Not Heard Anything Since The Game Tho :?

I could not see for the life in me why we did not take George off at half time on Saturday when he was clearly injured I hope playing him for 15 minutes in the 2nd half as not done the lad further damage
If we can develop his catching and defence we could have a very good player on our hands.

Open warning to all, stay on topic and cut out the petty stuff or you will recieve one warning by PM (unless you've already had one and then it's BAN time.

No excuses.

You have been warned.

Absolutely nothing wrong with his defence IMHO, but he does have an issue with the bouncing ball.

It is fantastic to finally see young quality British outside backs coming through, all need work but finally we may well be seeing a light at the end of the tunnel.

Unofficially the most boring poster on Cherry and White.

Credit to wakey to giving him the chance.

He finished a fantastic break and the try was created from nothing. He beat the last man with ease.

Got speed to burn
