Just watched the Widnes game on you tube, who is Hamlyn ? , also the foul language was a disgrace not to mention their obsession with forward pass, glad I decided not to go, saved money & passed no money onto that lot !

Are you being serious mate? it's who TC sometimes calls Caleb Uele. It's part of his double-barrelled last name Caleb Hamlin-Uele
Got to agree with the rest, the constant whinging from their supporters got on my tits watching it back. Every tackle no matter if they had the ball or us, the fans were complaining about something.
Also can't believe how much weight Anthony Walker's put on since I last saw him, especially when he was with us. Looks like an amateur player nowadays tbh.
Funny how we all see/hear thing’s different in a game , our fans were up in arms also every time Widnes got the rub of the green calling the ref some choice names but then amazingly settled down when the game swung our way . Sat at the far end of the stand you couldn’t really hear the words of the Widnes fans for our own fans chanting back , it’s only because TC was right on top of them filming . Great game great atmosphere ,free parking a stones throw away , what’s not to like ,and best opposition by far this season .They gave Powell n co some stick walking across to take up their positions in the stand and he looked to be enjoying the encounter and was laughing at the banter .

I dont get the "glad I didn't go" comment. We got to see a competitive game and support the Trin, what's not to like. I though we were a little hard done to in the first half but, it was a decent trip.

I think you've quoted the wrong poster, the OP said he was glad he didn't go, but then again he will have been still smarting a little following his teams close defeat to the champions on Friday night and blaming the ref for the yellow card that apparently lost them the game.

I really don't know why people bite on his obtuse threads.

Wow, it's weird how you defend bad foul language in a family sport, even TC apologised, got fed up of it & found the constant calls for forward pass as ridiculas & tiresome, but then you see what you want to see & hear what you want to see, at the wakey ground bad behaviour & language is not tolerated & comes over on the tanoy regular I have been to widnes many times & I am aware of their behaviour + it's got nothing to do with the or a result if you think that these things are normal then that's sad !

As I said KK I only watched it on YouTube so I'm only going off that, I couldn't get over to Widnes. It's always enjoyable watching our games back after seeing it live, more so if you can't to an away game. Maybe it was because TC was sitting near to their fans doing his commentary but he's done that before and I've never heard the mic pick up so much and never heard him apologise so much. You can barely hear him at times above all the swearing and shouting. For the first time, I turned the volume down, it just got on my nerves but ateotd it's free so not that much to complain about.
If there was ever fighting between our fans and a another teams fans it would be widnes. Horrible set they are. Now and again I user to stand on West with away fans as more room. Buy if Widnes were coming I wouldn't bother as we're mainly interested in baiting insulting and fighting
