Logged in using OTP option and it recognised me, job done
It'll be interesting to see the attendance for this match. Hopefully it'll be a sellout, the first since the opening game of the season v Bradford (7221).
Our official average attendance for the 13 home league games is approx 5650. (I don't think the club issued an attedance for the Toulouse home match; it was estimated as roughly 7000.)
I say "official" average attendance as I assume that we, along with most other clubs, quote the number of tickets sold - rather than the actual physical attendance. This is not a criticism btw; most football clubs do exactly the same. Where you've sold lots of season tickets at rock-bottom prices, or given tickets away, you are likely to get less attending games than tickets sold. For the obvious reason, if a ticket costs a lot, you tend to use it!
Anyway, with everyone having to buy a ticket at normal-ish prices - the semi final playoff quoted attendance should closely match the actual numbers in the ground.
One other point about attendances: I think I read somewhere that the IMG ratings are based on actual ground occupancy attendance, rather than number of tickets sold/given away. So interestingly for the regular season just gone, somewhere there will be a dual set of stats for every club - quoted average official attendance vs actual numbers attended.
