I think all of these make sense, if Boothroyd was Home Grown then I would have kept him but he isn't worth a quota spot . The other one who I wouldn't mind us keeping is Olpherts but he wouldn't be first choice and I imagine at this stage of his career he wants to be playing regular rugby.

It's why he left Leeds so yes regular game time is his goal. He'll be a good pick up for a top end Championship club. Still drops the odd clanger but finishes well and has a strong carry.
Let’s not forget they have been up against championship opposition , if players didn’t look good I think we’d all be asking questions. Yes we now have financial stability but that’s not to say money can be used willy nilly and the club must feel that at present we have a squad that can compete at the next level , which probably includes a contingency plan if and when the right player becomes available.
