No different to SL where some teams seem fitter and more skillful than others
I've just read on serious about rugby league that David Hughes owner of London Broncos is pulling out of the club. It doesn't look good for them. It finally might put end to the London experiment .
Possibly. Or it might be an opening for someone/a syndicate to come in and take them to the next level. Hughes deserves massive credit for bankrolling them with inflated travel, accommodation, and ground rental costs, but I don’t think he has the kind of money they need to be competitive in SL these days. We know better than anyone that sometimes good things can come of big change.
A slightly less favourable scenario is that a group cobble together enough cash to keep them running as a semi-pro club. Genuinely thousands of people in London love RL, and if the club’s existence is in threat I’d be confident something would happen.
So with 4 teams vying for 3 play-off spots, it all comes down to the final round of the season. I can see Widnes beating Barrow and Sheffield beating Dewsbury, so IMHO it will all come down to York -v- Fev and with it being at York I can see them winning, meaning Fev will miss out ??
York v Fev could go either way, probably would just go with York to win at home, not sure if Widnes will win I think Barrow will field a much stronger side than they did against us, could get close up in Cumbria on a heavy pitch
