I'd take Langi at centre however, we probably need to prioritise other positions if we only have limited space i.e. 2 spots maximum.

So who are you leaving out?

Reece Lyne or Corey Hall?

Reece Lyne if he performs like 2022. If he finds his 2021 form however that’s a different matter.

Langi would be a good signing though if it were to happen. He’s a good player. Whether he’s needed or we think we need more quality in other positions is the question.

Top six 2005 - Trinity.

just watching an interview with him from his roosters days where he's introduced to the roosters fans as a half who also plays at second row/lock.. now he's mainly a centre... he arrived and was first given the 6 shirt but he's also he's played on the wing for Catalan... so the only contentious point I made was suggesting he could cover full back and nobody really considered Tui Lolohea a full back before he went to Hudds...

I like Langi... he's a quality player who can cover multiple positions he's played international football and NRL... very successful and well respected... I maintain he will add much to any team or squad he should join.

...in summary I wasn't commenting on his fit for the Trinity squad... I was commenting on my opinion of him as a player.

as for talking rubbish... No... I was actually typing rubbish (in your opinion) as I often do!

He’d be totally worth the dosh for that amount of versatility, however isn’t that what Gaskell is for?

I wouldn't touch Langi after what he did to us last time.

He didn’t do anything last time. It was for personal reasons he couldn’t come, and that’s why the Catalan Chairman compensated us out of his own pocket as a gesture to Langi.

It not always black and white.

Agreed. If we're starting with a fresh squad then it's a different conversation but not sure it would make sense at this moment in time.

No me neither, just pointing out that there is no animosity as far as I know.

We`re talking like it`s unlikely to get 2 injuries in those positions at the same time... We have a good utility player in Gaskell but he can`t cover 2 or 3 positions at the same time, I see no reason why having Gaskell means that we shouldn`t sign Langi if we have the budget, it`s not absolutely essential but it adds some quality strength in depth for us.
