For many seasons, and when I used to produce the match-day programme, the individual statistics of our players were always published match-by-match. However, I have been unable to obtain any source of the performances of our current squad. Are the statistics available anywhere? They don't even appear on our Club's website! Will anyone please provide an update of the current squad's performance this season and during their career? Just like the 'The Good Old Days'. My apologies for going back in time yet again. If my comments are factually incorrect then I apologise but will anyone explain why the statistics are no-longer available? Could it be 'EQUALITY' for fear of the underperformance of certain players potentially taking action against the Club for their personal inability to perform being published? |

It must really hurt that we won our last two games. Nothing to say about how bad the team is. Or how bad players are. So you post this trying to find fault instead. For your stats to show players are not as good as other players. You will have to compare the teams and players who they played against. Do you do that? |

There are a group of people who havn't been to Cougar Park in ages, and are unlikely to anytime soon. Oh we discuss the team, we read the posts Keighley News!!! , excuses and guess what, they are the same as have been spouted ad infinitum for more years than we care to remember. Oh there have been good times, few and far between but the game has changed, the system has changed, but somehow, attitudes, and "nay lad these electric lights are a good idea but there's a good 20 year left in't gas mantle left" attitude still pervades the game, clubs, thinking and what people expect. It doesn't look likely to change within what's left of my lifetime. Just a simple question, Why do Keighley, over the years have brilliant wingers, but never give them the ball so they end up at other clubs? |

Leaguefan, I'm sorry you don't feel able to go to matches, if you did you would have seen some great tries scored by our backs over recent weeks. Ok, Cougars are frustrating, but for goodness sake..... |
