Does anyone know if this game will ever be played again?

A mid-week game is impossible for us so when will/ can it be played?

How will it affect the final League positions?

With the league looking as tight as it is I don't think the RFL could risk not having the game played.

It could be the two points that mean the difference between 1st and 2nd place the importance being a home match in the qualifying match for promotion

What's wrong with the end of August? Isn't it the CC final that weekend? We currently don't have a fixture for that weekend!

We dont have a match that weekend, but Skolars are playing North Wales then.

OK, so the Skolars are playing on the Friday evening before the Challenge Cup Final but the following Monday is a Bank Holiday.

Does anyone remember 'The Good Old Days' when all Clubs played on Good Friday and again on Easter Monday?

Why can't Skolars agree to a Monday afternoon fixture following the Final?

Or will they insist on a mid-week fixture when they will only have 'Home Support' and we will have to travel 200 miles to play as well as our players having to 'break-time'.

As they did before, I would imagine that the RFL will come down on the Skolars' side (as they did when they forced us to play 4 games in 10 days (unless my memory us fading), and enforce a ridiculous mid-week game.

'A level playing-field' varies when the RFL becomes involved, as we all know only too-well.

Should be Skolars v Cougars on 28th Aug Friday night before Wembley at London Broncos ground as Danny Jones memorial match profit to memorial fund after both sides costs met. Skolars could play north wales weekend before

The RFL alone will make the decision, after seeking "input" from both clubs and the relevant TV broadcaster, if involved.

Anyone else's "input" will be totally ignored.

That has always been the system, nothing has changed.

I've only just picked up on this thread.

Skolars have said under no circumstances would they expect us to go back to the New River Stadium and would be willing to play the game at Cougar Park.

However, the RFL have yet to agree a date or venue for the fixture and we're still not sure when this will be decided.

North Wales are in the same boat with their fixture away at York still to be played and due to Friday Night Lights can't be played on Bank Holiday Monday.

Cheers for that.
Great gesture from London on giving up home advantage.

Any news on this ?
Clubs have agreed a switch to cougar park ,
Is it just the RFL dragging it on (as usual) ?
