Just spoken to Marchy this morning. He confrimed he'll be continuing playing for the 2015 campaign and that Gary has only just given him the budget for next season so you might have to wait a while before signings and re-signings can be announced, especially with the appeal at hand, but I'll get them straight to you when they happen on this thread!
For those who missed it on Facebook and Twitter earlier, had another conversation with Marchy and this is what he said:
"Whitey was on a two year deal but with us going down, he's agreed to change his contract to suit the league we are in, so he's on board for next year."
To confirm, Paul White is signed up for the 2015 season.
NOTE: Could we have the thread sticky'd please moderator?
Paul White will be awsome in our new division I am sure. We must be in a with a chance of coming back up again but I expect it will be competitive, perhaps more difficult than we think.
One thing for me is that every day that goes by after Sunday is a step further on with rehabilitation and recovery! The good wishes of folks from other clubs, and the lack of bickering bewteen us all on this Forum is heartening. It is as if everone is thinking ah well that's over with now, lets move on! (plenty could just say I told you so). I do find this positve vibe heartening and rather than give up which is tempting we can all come back stronger!
That's brilliant news, we can build a team around those two. Together they are a class act. We need some umph in the forwards now.
I have only been wrong once and thats because I thought I was wrong but I was wrong I was right!
Petty authoritarians aren’t man enough to challenge the actions of a person face to face; instead they incite a forum of rumour, innuendo and half truths, and impose rude sanctions to discourage those who dare question fairness.
