Those two words again! FRUSTRATING!

But, Crusaders have four tomorrow on DR from Warrington, Kevin Penny, Gary Wheeler, Joe Philbin and George King.

Thoughts?

RL in it's current form is a joke, and I am trying to be polite.

It has no idea what it wants, so it has no idea how to get there, wherever that maybe, at all levels.

As a sport controlling organisation, it leaves an awful lot to be desired.

If those four are in the NWC final 17, how is it a NWC team we are playing? If those four play and we end up getting beat I will be seriously pi$$ed off. Hopefully this will give our lads some extra motivation to beat them. I detest this system, it is a FARCE.

If ALL Championship and League 1 clubs refused to entertain DR (well, except Hunslet, of course), the Super League clubs would have to think of something else i.e. run reserve sides.

The above details are courtesy of 'Love Rugby League.Com'.

Four REGULAR Super League First Team players included in NWC's squad for today's game with only two appearances between them for NWC.

If this isn't sufficient motivation for the Cougars today, then nothing will!

As usual The RFL are fiddling whilst the game burns!

And NWC got exactly what they deserved. Nothing and four regulars missing out on a game. That is the way forward !!

Had been without internet for the weekend and only realised they were using a big name when I arrived at the game. I was pretty hacked off to say the least. RFL need to bring back reserves ASAP.

Looks like we're back to the same old situation with 'DR', the Operational Rules, and a Governing Body who simply don't care and continue to fail to implement the Dual Registration Rules as they are written:

Quote:The purpose of this Rule is to provide an enhanced Player development pathway for young Players who are not thought to be ready to make the step up to first team for their Club on a permanent basis but for whom first team match experience in a lower league is likely to be beneficial for their development. It is intended to provide additional flexibility for Clubs to make arrangements that suit the Player’s development needs whilst protecting both the playing squad requirements of the Clubs concerned and the integrity of both competitions.

I would consider that Kevin Penny in particular fails on all counts under this Rule as he cannot be considered to be ‘Young’ and is certainly a ‘Regular First Team Player’ with Warrington and must be considered as having been included simply to ensure that North Wales Crusaders were victorious against a Keighley side with no Dual Registered players in their ranks nor even a Dual Registration agreement with any Club.

As the Governing Body, the RFL is solely responsible for maintaining the ‘integrity’ of the Game which I believe has been brought into disrepute by both Warrington Wolves and North Wales Crusaders this afternoon.

Great victory though. Well done everyone!

They are unable to maintain integrity in the game in general as they
Are corrupt and don't have an ounce of integrity themselves.
