Dean Muir could have as many as eleven first team players available to him for tomorrow’s reserve team season opener.

Three weeks after a friendly away at Thornhill Trojans was postponed, Cougars reserves will finally get onto the field for the first team in 2015 with Victoria Rangers visiting Cougar Park.

Daley Williams and Luke Haigh will both make their returns from injury in this game with Gavin Duffy included to gain match fitness ahead of the new League One season.

Youngsters Sean Kelly and Andy Gabriel, who impressed for the first team in pre-season, will also both turn out for Dean Muir’s side this Thursday evening.

The game will also present the opportunity for supporters to see new signing Scott Lee for the first time.

The friendly will see a number of youngsters in the Reserve Grade, including fans favourite Ben Stead, also turn out in the fight to earn a place in the seventeen for the reserve league opener against the Leigh Centurions.

The game at Cougar Park tomorrow (Thursday) evening is a 19:30 KO with admission £2 for Adults and Free for Concessions.

Is this some sort of a club press release, or an editorial, or a personal observation?

The same review is on the club website so it appears to be official.

Thanks Dreamer, its just that I sometimes find it hard to tell where the OP is coming from. I would find it helpfull if they would clarify in someway, say by attribution, quotation marks, or simply stating whether something is "official" or personal opinion. Over to you Hello Trouble.

It's a preview for a game. I get given the team, injuries ect. and then put it together to go on the website.

This is a fans forum where real people express views, oplnions, thoughts, etcetera, which is why I read it. If I wanted to see an official club point of view then the webs*te is where I would go. Humour me, why not have two distinct user names so that the uninitiated can clearly tell if a post is personal, or as an organ of the club. It's good to see that Kelly and Gabriel are impressive, and Stead is a favourite, so look forward to seeing them get a fair chance in the first team this year.

I'm just doing my job. I refuse to be in the firing line of this constant moaning, bickering and pathetic vendetta some sections of our support hold against the powers that be.
