The Third Round Draw for the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup has been made in Huddersfield this evening.



The draw saw the fourteen Kingstone Press League One clubs, including the Cougars, join the ten amateur winners from the Second Round in the competition.



The Cougars have been drawn to face Barrow Raiders away at Craven Park.



It will be the second consecutive season the sides will meet in the competition with the Cougars beating Barrow 54-28 at Cougar Park in last season’s fourth round.



Elswhere in the draw, Andy Shickell’s Elland have been drawn at home to fellow amateurs Featherstone Lions whilst Coventry Bears first game in the competition will see them travel to League One rivals Oldham.



The other two of the Cougars victims from last seasons competition Wath Brow and Swinton have both been given tough ties. The Hornets will be at home to the Newcastle Thunder with the Lions heading south to take on London Skoalrs.



The tie will be played over the weekend of the 7th/8th March with the date, kick off time and prices to be confirmed in due course.
