The RFL have corrected an error for our division. It's the top five and not top six who make play offs. WEEK ONE: 1 V 2 - Winner Promoted WEEK TWO: 1/2 V 5 - Loser Eliminated 3 V 4 - Loser Eliminated WEEK THREE: 1/2/5 V 3/4 - Winner Promoted |

At least it shows they are capable of admitting errors!..... Just a few more errors for them to admit to methinks. |

However, anywhere in the top 5 at least gives hope and Leeds have shown that a division can be won from a low position. It's all about timing your peak performances with the playoffs. You can be as impressive as you want at the start of the season, you can even go unbeaten, but if you finish on an empty tank it's all for nowt. |

Just realised I put an incorrect one myself! It's correct now, I was led to believe that Loser of 1 V 2 would get a bye to the final. |

Seems to me like straight forward RL well thought out planning. One day the dog will wag the tail. |

The team in fifth can sit back and watch 1 and 2 knock the hell out of each other and then come in fresh against a tired team in week 2. You could finish fifth and gain promotion by only winning two games. The looser of the first game has to play three. Seems odd! I'll mention Leeds again, they managed their squad, didn't seem to mind loosing several games during the season (although it peed off their fans to pay good money for dire rugby), finished fifth, but hit the finals fresh and ready for action. You would have to be capable of playing well away from home to do it from fifth though. |
