However crowds remained poor, results were mixed, and he was off. With 5 relegated this year and the Batley fiasco our better results this yaer were still not good enough to stay up by a whisker, but the wearing of rose tinted specs isn't particularly helping. As for Baz, we were relegated under him (even allowing for points difference )when 2 went down and the sight of him on TV ranting and raving in a pathetic manner at the awful match v Fev lives in the memory. Marchy isn't everones cup of tea but we could do a lot worse.
I'm not sure why you post this on what is a celebration of an ex cougar coach achieving an exemplary record in Australia and gaining promotion to assistant coach of an NRL side. A position that most ex and current coaching staff would sell their granny for.
JD and the Chairman said at the time that he didn't have a big budget, most of the "names" came because of JD (and followed him to Aus).
I'm not sure what Cougarmania II was, I must have missed it .
You say crowds remained poor, what do you think they are now!!! The only good crowds we've had are when the away team bring support.
I'm not sure why you feel the need to mention Barry Eaton, he has no relevance to the subject whatsoever.
Poor effort, must try harder
