GF: It's sad for the sport that two member clubs are having to take legal action against the RFL.
GF: The club since 2010 has adopted the strategy of cutting non playing costs to stabilise the finances and club in the Championship.
GF: Observation, Featherstone is a village and averaging 2k. Leigh, without a rail station, 2k. Keighley averaging 1k as 3rd largest parish.
GF: Allegedly, Featherstone have borrowed 50k of the RFL to pay the players wages after withdrawal of Probiz.
GF: The club are looking for volunteers for Pitch Maintenance, Stadium Maintenance, Marketing, Commercial, Fundraising, Admin & Online.
GF: 1k more supporters attended 2pm KO than 3pm KO on Sunday afternoon games.
GF: Packages for businesses available from £10-£1k per month to sponsor the club.
GF: Kris Hopkins MP has organised a meeting to discuss Cougar Park redevelopment.
GF: We have made some changes, including appointing a performance director, and will be appointing a Director of Rugby.
GF: Playing, Coaching, Conditioning, Scouting and Youth Development will be seen over by a soon to be appointed Director of Rugby.
GF: Voulenteers will be branded 'MatchMakers' and will create and manage a memorable matchday experience.
GF: On 15th August, after sustained pressure from Sheffield forced the hand of the RFL to investigate Batley and Doncaster.
SEC: I leaked the information to Whitehaven and Workington as the RFL were not going to investigate the matter.
GF: Both club's successfully appealed the decision of points deduction on the 28th August.
GF: I mailed the RFL to ask how many decisions are overturned by appeals committe, they responded very low.
GF: If you don't punish Batley and Doncaster, everyone will play illegible players, as North Wales did at Cougar Park.
GF: The appeals committe for Batley & Doncaster met before 14:45 and the RFL won't give a reason why.
GF: Neither Batley nor Doncaster were present in the appeals room when the overturn was decided by the panel.
GF: New evidence was submitted by Batley which wasn't new. Therefore breaching the RFL's own rules.
GF: Joint legal challenge being made on grounds that the RFL have broken three of there own rules in regards to appeals panel.
GF: The RFL legal team sent Keighley and Sheffield a letter on Monday asking for time. Until the 17th October.
GF: The RFL have been threatened with a High Court challenge, and a legal injunction on release of 2015 fixtures.
GF: The RFL pay for members to be selected for the appeals panel, then claim for it to be independent.
GF: Sheffield have sent letters to 14 MP's including Ed Miliband and Nick Clegg.
GF: All Party Parliamentary Committe are investigating the matter.
GF: Letters have been sent to RFL partners and sponsors informing them of the matter.
GF: EGM to discuss reverse of appeals panel decision, review operational rules and reduction of powers in RFL board.
GF: Championship chairman's meeting to discuss possibility of 13 team division & prohibiting RFL using members money to fight legal battle.
GF: We are to launch story to the national press this week, and I am looking into going onto Boots N'All.
GF: Batley's CEO rang Sheffield to apologise for the situation. Clubs pinning fault fully on the RFL.
GF: We need Voulenteers as we have many things to do and support is vital from the fans and keep the pressure on the RFL.
SEC: I asked for scrapping of dual reg to be put on AGM agenda, the other club's refused to do so.
GF: It seems the game is strategically trying to keep dual registration going next season.
GF: No matter what division we are in, we will look for damages as it has prohibited the club signing players.
PETITION LATEST: Nigel Hall received a email from the RFL to confirm the petition has been passed on to the board members.
NORTH WALES LATEST: Following the revelation from Barrow that Scott Turner was illegible, Bobbie Goulding has revealed all on Twitter prompting Crusaders to request proof that the Cougars and Barrow are 100% sure of this matter.
A couple of weeks ago there was a thread on the Featherstone Rovers fans' Facebook page pointing out Keighley's petition. A lot of fans stated on that thread that they would sign the petition (or already had).
Now we read your Chairman chucking stuff like this (the allegation re the RFL and our players' wages) out at a public meeting, retweeted by The Cougars' official Twitter feed (and by Sheffield player Misi Taulapapa). Regardless of whether it's true or not (and most Fev supporters are under no illusions about how sticky our financial situation was post-Feisal), I think a lot of Fev fans - who remember have a lot of natural empathy with Keighley given we were shafted in similar style to the Cougars in 1995 at the start of SL - will have lost a lot of sympathy for Keighley's plight now.
Perhaps there was some context to it, but there's been no attempt to put any context either here or on Twitter as far as I can see.
The Phantom Horseman, the post by HT is of random notes made by an individual, not the club
It is unfortunate that rumours are passed on and can so easily escalate in to unnecessary comments and ill feeling between clubs and fans, what has happened or not at Featherstone is quite rightly as you put it 'none of our business'
Thank you for your support with the petition and I would strongly recommend that all rugby league fans sign the petition and stand together against the rfl for the good of the game.
HT's points are not the minutes of the meeting last night and therfore should not be confused with the club's minutes which are here to be seen on the link

As with Phantom, I had a lot of empathy with Keighley, having been bent over and royally rodgered in 1995 just as you were.
Whether or not we have borrowed from the RFL (and I'd be amazed if we hadn't given the mess that the cas b'stard Poskitt and his flip flop wearing mate left) is sod all to do with your club. Why it's even being discussed in relation to your issue is beyond me.
We're not keen on being called a village either.
Featherstone Rovers - Co-Operative Championship League Leaders and Champions 2011
There are two recent posts now that have caused ill-feeling. Yes, we are not going to please everyone and sometimes things can get taken out of context. Can I suggest that Hello Trouble either posts as himself or as an official of the club. It would seem that he posts personally and on behalf of the club under the one name. People will clearly feel it's a clubs view when in reality it's not (Batley post). Maybe you need two usernames Josh or to maybe be careful what you post. Not sure the club really want to associate themselves with some of the posts? Just saying…..
There used to be "TheClubsVoice" (which seems to have gone dormant) as well as "HelloTrouble!". Maybe Josh could take over the TCV account for official posts and just use HT! For personal posts?
