This is a simple message to you from me, not as the club's media officer, but as a supporter of Keighley Cougars.
Stick with us, don't give up. We'll be back better and stronger and we need your support more than ever.
I've had the pleasure of working with a fantastic bunch of lads who together formed a great side on their day, and it'll be a terrible shame to see that broken up now we've been relegated. I want to wish them the very best for all the future endeavours taken on by every single one of them, I will miss them for sure.
I was on the pitch with the team following today's game. To watch Paul Handforth, Paul March and Andy Shickell break down was gutwrenching. I can safely say myself and a few others were on the brink of joining them. Shick didn't deserve that on his final game, none of them did and to see your support following the game was fantastic.
So, whether it be a home game against Hunslet or a long trip to London Skolars. Please be with us in 2015.

Josh, you make it sound as if it's a foregone conclusion that many players will be leaving and the squad will be totally broken up. Is that how it's going to be?

I'm not replying for him, but in my opinion we won't have any choice if players want to leave. It was mentioned last week, although not officially, that this may be the case.
I have only been wrong once and thats because I thought I was wrong but I was wrong I was right!
Petty authoritarians aren’t man enough to challenge the actions of a person face to face; instead they incite a forum of rumour, innuendo and half truths, and impose rude sanctions to discourage those who dare question fairness.

Match day for me is a social experience and an essential part of the calendar. I have no intention of stopping supporting just because of a temporary set back like this.
