They used to advertise on the front of the old 'scrattin' shed': 'TAYLORS FOR MEN OF THE NORTH'. It ran full length and height (of the front cover of the shed) in their green corporate colour (if there was one in the 60's). There is also a post card of Keighley playing Australia at Lawkholme in the 1950, taken from the main stand with the Taylor's advert prominently displayed in the background. It was still there until the scrattin' shed was demolished at the start of Cougarmania. |
