Although a win is needed first and foremost, would like to see us put some points past them; staying up could come down to points difference. |

Points wise we are well ahead of haven and 38 on Batley. Batley play haven next, interesting. |

Batley may yet have points taken of them. |

After yesterday's results and, in anticipation of the following results on Sunday: Sheffield Eagles-Swinton Lions 3 0 Crusaders Rugby League-Halifax R.L.F.C. 1 3 Barrow Raiders-Keighley Cougars RLFC 1 3 Dewsbury Rams-Rochdale Hornets 3 1 Doncaster RLFC-Workington Town 3 1 Leigh Centurions-Featherstone Rovers 3 1 Whitehaven-Batley Bulldogs 3 1 I have the end of season table as: 5th Dewsbury with 52 still 52 6th Workington with 49 still 52 7th Sheffield with 48 now 49 8th Whitehaven with 49 now 47 9th Cougars with 44 - now 46 10th Batley with 42 now 44 But these positions are subject to whatever sanctions the RFL decides to take against Batley and the other teams. A 3 Points deduction for Batley would certainly help us though and give us a bit of breathing space! |

I did before yesterday's loss: Whitehaven-Batley Bulldogs 3 1 Sheffield Eagles-Whitehaven 1 3 Whitehaven-Rochdale Hornets 3 1 Swinton Lions-Whitehaven 0 3 but with Sheffield's resurgence, I might have that result wrong. Remember, I did this 3 weeks ago, but you never know, we might even finish in 8th position (if the Sheffield result goes against them) if we 'sort' ourselves and play as we know that we can. |

I remember this fixture from last year, a below average performance and just, only just, keeping our place. We can't afford that type of complacent performance again. Barrow, like all clubs, will sense this and punish us. Danny Jones back to stand off please and 80 mins of committed rugby from the team. At times we find it hard to raise our game against those below us in the table. |

Another must win. As you say Dreamer a committed and error free performance required. This league table is very tight. |

Totally agree, with our key positions (1,6,7,9,13) filled by Craven, Handforth, Jones, Buster and Lindsay the structure of the team is at its strongest. Without this we end up struggling as we did against Fax, Town & Leigh. We humiliated Barrow, they may have lost 19 games this season but it really doesn't reflect on how well they can play, if they are up for the game then it will be really difficult for Cougars if we appear lacklustre as we did last week. come on Cougars, let's take another 3 points and rise up the table |
