Don't know what to make of Fax this year, they've had some strange performances.
They will be difficult to beat at home but as you say, if ever there was a time to get one over on them it's now. I'm not over confident though.
I have only been wrong once and thats because I thought I was wrong but I was wrong I was right!

I can't remember the last time I saw Keighley beat Halifax. I would love to see the Cougars do it on Thursday. It would also be nice if a decent following could travel over the hill to cheer our lads on. Who's all going? Two County Durham Cougars coming to start with
I hope the wider pitch at the Shay may suit our style of play. I was very impressed with Tiger yesterday who had his best game for the Cougars (from the games I've seen at least). Lets hope he can take this form into that game. Think we just need to tighten up that defence. We didn't wrap the ball up a number of times yesterday and better teams will punish us. If Jones is out maybe theres a chance for Ben Stead to make his name?!

If Jones was playing I really do think we could take them this time as the confidence in the team is sky high.
In Jones absence Stead would be the man to play imo, he hasn't played as part of the first choice 17 in the form that they are in and he may just shine and fit in perfectly
From Keighley Albion there will be 88 kids and adults going. For a lot of them it will be there first cougar game so there's a lot of excitement amongst them.
Hope Ben stead gets in as he has kindly offered his free time to come to a few training sessions for the u9s and is becoming a favourite with the kids, would be good for them to see him play. To be honest it will be great for them to see as many of the local lads as possible and give them something to aim for.
Hope for a Keighley win but can't judge this one as Halifax have had some strange results so far this season. Hopefully a good attendance of around 1,300 - 1,500 with it been a Thursday night.
Does anyone know what option Marchy is going for in the halfbacks? I can think of arguments for moving experienced players around to cover and I can also think of arguments to bring in one of the young half backs too.
I wonder where Marchy can watch the game. No obvious hills or gaps in fences? Perhaps a crane?
