But that's not their main problem ......

The deal to buy them out of administration by (apparently) using their own funds (rather a strange proposal from the start) has fallen-through after the RFL refused to accept the fact that no new money would be introduced.

More details on the Telegraph & Argus website.

Well done to the RFL for once for being consistent and showing some integrity

Im bored of Bradford's plight now, just another boring chapter 'will they won't they'. It's like reading Game of Thrones, crap and full of utter fantasy.

What choice did the RFL have. Feeling hard done to Bradford fans? Well we know the feeling. Only difference being Keighley were pioneering and successful when the RFL screwed us over. The directors have made their bed and they must now lie in it. Trying to buy the club with its own non existent cash, not wanting to pay the HMRC etc etc.

The club has been hanging by a thread for the last few years and once again the outlook is grim. Of course I should be looking at 'the good of the game', 'rugby league family sticking together' etc. Well I'm sorry I won't be, I hope they liquidate and cease to exist.

Yours
Fan from Keighley ('Glorified village' C. Caisley 1995)

I was aware of some of the other stuff he said but did he really say this? If so, I despise the man even more than I already did :SHOOT: Relegation would be nice...

We are from Keighley. We are NOT Bradfordians.

It now emerges that Bradford Council lent the Bulls £200,000 in 2012.

And it doesnt look like they will be getting it back.

I seriously think this whole thing is becoming a scandal now.

The council are bang out of order using public money in this way.

I cant get to tonight's game against Whitehaven and clearly I having a boring afternoon, if I'm thinking about the Dulls but I understand that the RL are wanting more info before making a decision on the deducted points!

What I see happening here is that the decision will continue to be put off until the end of the season when the decision will be made depending on Dulls fortunes over the next months - if the Dulls can climb out of relegation without getting the points back then the RL won't give the points back but if they need the points to escape relegation then I am sure it will be arranged .... I have absolutely no faith in the RL but maybe that's just me!

BBC News 11/06/14 @ 18:16 : " Super League side Bradford Bulls have their appeal against their six-point deduction rejected by an independent panel."

I still don't have faith in the RL though:)

Best news for some time. Who do they think they are?

Another appeal?
