I've been listening to the game on Radio Cumbria (thanks Rach), the commentary wasn't too bad but unfortunately we lost albeit we got a bonus point, Whitehaven have jumped over us to 7th place. Got to dig deep for Sunday against Batley. |

Got to dig deep for Sunday against Batley. Spot on there. We really need three points against the Dogs. I had Radio Cumbria on as well; second-to-last try seemed a bit weird. Our scrum not far off our line, ball comes out the back but no-one picks it up so Haven lad grabs it, takes it over our line and scores the try. That seemed to do for us really and Haven went over again shortly afterwards. Got the impression we gave away a few penalties as well. |

Sounded like a knock on 76 mins on our own line. Tough game as always, Batley will be firing on all. I think we're entering the wobble phase of the season. We were still right to rest players, we have some big games coming up and there's no way we'd have beaten widnes. |

Pretty disappointing .. Started like a house on fire but lost our way a bit and the final pass let us down time n time again.. Bizarre way to concede a try from the scrum that gave Haven the victory . Cracking try from White the highlight and once again a game marred by a Ref who loved the sound of his whistle far too much |

I was at game and throught they were there for the taking. Very average game to be fair. Too many pens given again which needs sorting. Some unhappy Cougars fans at end. Around 20 behind posts 2nd half. Roll on Sunday. |

One of there tries was scored after the 7th tackle. Someone needs to teach Bloom how to count. |

Always difficult in Cumbria, Tuesday night game, at least we got a point etc, but it does sound like a missed opportunity. Its a long way back home after defeat in Cumbria - I feel for all those that made the trip. Thank goodness for all those recent points. A loss to Batley wouldnt be disasterous as the bottom 5 do seem to be drifting away from the top 9 - but I guess we are all getting a bit twitchy. A win v Batley and we can be looking up the table again rather than down. Of course Marchy will be returning to save the day in a few weeks...... |
