Love Rugby League has reported that due to the success of the DR system in seeing the benefit to both superleague and championship clubs DR is here to stay. There are further plans to allow struggling superleague teams to DR together from May this year. This will give the likes of Bradford who are currently in talks with St Helens an unfair advantage which could well see them survive the superleague this season Comments and opinions people |

I heard it was even going a stage further: the top SL clubs will now team up with themselves!! In this revolutionary move they will actually play their promising youngsters in their own first teams. An assistant coach said "it's about time we stopped these pension seeking imports and grew our own talent, it will even allow the championship clubs to do their own development and bring more kids into the game" These ground breaking plan has brought praise from many quarters including Stuart Lancaster who was rubbing his hands at the prospect of snatching easy pickings for his World Cup squad! |
