.....It was always likely given the number of absences. As Phil Larder once said, concentrate on the games that matter! |

I wont swear but LMFAO how can you compare or use anything from the times of phil larder to this experience. Not sure who you are but do us all a favour and give the directors a shake before they destroy the greatest chance this club has had in years. Not trying to be agressive but I like most on here am just a passionate supporter that loves the club and have done since 1993 |

If this has wound you up so much I think you perhaps need to stay away from cougar park this year because it's going to be a stressful season. Would you prefer we target Halifax, Leigh, Batley, Fev etc? Let's not forgot we are a mediocre team but top 8 is achievable, but only by targeting the games to win with a full strength and if necessary rested team and key players. What came out of your precious Phil Larder years anyway? Administration (RFL induced admittedly) but years of woe followed which we could not recover from. If the directors blasted this year and failed, which I think we would against well established teams at the top, we'd be bust again. At least if the worst happens, there still is a chance of recovery. If Keighley sees administration again I think that's our lot. So supporting since 1993? Yawn yawn heard it all before and couldn't care less. The problem with the crowd is the length of time they've been there. Dust gathering grim faces complaining at every game. Free season tickets for Everyone under 17, investing in the future is what I see. Blowing £100'000 this year means there won't be a future. We have a top 8 team, coach and budget (guess). But that's it, we're fighting for 8th spot with the rest of the bottom half and I can't wait. Cougars! |

To exert more influence at the club ott perhaps you ought to put in a takeover bid - at least you could wear your fashion item of choice (rose tinted spectacles!). Its going to be a tense season - and thats only on here! Come on cougars!! |

But lets be honest that sort of ethos belongs firmly in the dressing room, only for the players ears and backroom staff. I attend all home games and u20s and many away games. My expectation is, the team will try their hardest to win every game and not have some hidden agenda. If that is so, can the club warn us of the games that matter, then my expectations will be lowered. Could they also let me know the games that mattered last season, so I can have a recap of our performance. The club is trying to increase support. To post that comment on an open forum is beyond belief. The club is now and not what has happened before. Stop living in the past and look to the future. We need these new supporters, who will expect good performances. All games are winnable don't insult the supporters by picking and choosing. |

RFL has confirmed today that a championship 1 team will be promoted at the end of this season meaning that 5 will be relagated from the championship. 9th spot is the target then this year. Going to be really tight I think |
