a decent-ish no 7 , n a blooming good goal kicker but one who always benefited from playing in front of a dominant pack .... put him on the back foot in an lesser team and his shortfalls will show themselves .... Scotty Leatherbarrow , given a starting line up like Fevs , would have been similarly outstanding ... |

Part of me says that Finn has left it too late to once again make the step up. We have seen ourselves what happens whan you get half backs close to their "sell by" date. However, the golden oldies Barry Eaton and Nathan Antonik both produced touches of class in Busters testimonial. I would have paid good money to see them play together in their prime. (Craig Fawcett was pretty handy too). |

One of the problems is that most sport. RL included are going down the ways of American Football, ie set play / match plans and all the planning/ psychology thats goes with them .. The days as it was when Nathan n laterally Baz played the game to their own abilities have sadly left us ......
