What has happened to our goal-kicking ability? Why can't we play for the full 80 minutes? Unless we masetr both of these aspects of our game then we don't have a cat-in-Hell's chance of winning anything! |

Good performance that belies the scoreline. One breakaway interception try and one that wasn't (double movement) and things could have been very different. We should take a lot out of that game as we had Batley rocking for long periods. Now lets do it in the Championship. Ryan Patchett was outstanding. |

We don't have kicking ability through Danny Jones , he can't kick for toffee at the moment and is a complete liability with the misguided long passes to no one. |

Agree with most of what Lawkholme Len said Some good flowing, attacking rugby played at pace in the first half. When we move the ball along the line like that we would score against anyone. Even in that last 10 mins when Batley got in front we had posession on their line and calmer heads might have scored. Once again it was missed opportunities and errors/penalties that let us down. Batley stuck to their task and easy tries in the last 10 mins made the game look lopsided IMO . |

Yup, good rugby on show. Penalties keep killing us. Promising stuff. Seen much better kicking in the past from both Danny and Scott. The team need lots of positive thinking. Ironically peter Roe was talking about sports psychologists and the benefit of them on radio Leeds on my way home. Maybe the team needs a session with a sports psychologist... After todays game i am looking forward to next. |

The fall-off in last 10 minutes when down to 12 men was of course disappointing - but a much better performance than last year's team gave in going 30 - nil down at half-time. |

Much much better today. Why can we not play like that v teams around us? This needs to change, enjoyed today though. |
