After listening to Sky's Eddie & Stevo tonight it makes me think that Eddie Waring in hindsight treated the game with great reverence compared with the lightweight jokers those two have become. And with two poor teams at the bottom of the league why does Stevo think the two points for the winners were "vital" when there is no relegation at present? |

You're so right. Those two jokers spoil my enjoyment of Sky's RL coverage. Stevo in particular is just a goon and his sidekick is not much better. Anyone tuning in to try out a bit of RL must surely listen to those two and reach for the remote control to change channels again sharpish. They remind me of that daft wrestling they used to show on 'World of Sport' back in the 70s and 80s. That's more their level. And spot on again with your second point. If a Super League team lost every game all season - so what? |

How did the Cougars Under 20s go on in the curtain-raiser game? Did SKY mention our game? |

As a rugby league fan, unfortunately, I don't like the way those currently in charge at RL HQ run the game - compare with Soccer at the moment - frenzied excitement at dozens of grounds around the country as promotion and relegation battles are fought out in front of packed houses. Sky had to show a meaningless match (Salford v Castleford), with nothing at stake and virtually no interest (80% empty stadium). The sooner rugby league brings back a settled league structure with promotion and relegation (even if only one-up, one-down) the better. The game isn't going to attract a wider audience 'till that happens. |

Those two are the main reason I cancelled sky sports. They are an absolute joke. |
