Full time score: Oldham 56 Keighley 16 Tries: Ryan Smith, Joe Copperwaite, James Haythornwaite Goals: Jamie Donnelly, Callum Hudson There were afew good points. Ryan Smith had another good game and I think he should get a chance in the 1st team game. Callum Hudson came on in the 2nd half and played very well. |

Oldham put out a strong (big) team and we looked a bit small, but that said played well and kept going. Just couldn't get through them which is no shame given how big they were. Who is No 17, he looked handy. |

Callum Hudson was No 17, like most of the reserves, a product of the Keighley Cougar Cubs and plays at hooker. In the under 18's and 2 or 3 years previous, he was his teams 1st choice goal kicker with a very good success rate. Callum, Jack Cawood, Josh Taylor, Sam Walker, Joe Copperwaite & Jack Copperwaite were all in the Cubs u18's last winter and have had nearly 12 months of non-stop rugby. All these super league sides complaining of playing too many games. These lads dont, they just get on with it. Brendon Rawlins was supposed to play, but picked up a minor knock in training the night before so wasnt risked. |

Shame he could not play really as i think everyone will agree he needs game time to shed those extra pounds he looks to have gained in Aus! |
