Zabair Rasul, Director of Neighbourhood Services for Incommunities’ aire-whare office, has been appointed as a trustee to the Cougar Community Foundation.
Mr Rasul attended his first meeting of the Foundation at Cougar Park last Friday and he joins a Board of Trustees together with Chairman of Keighley Cougars Neil Spencer, Keighley MP Ann Cryer, Keighley Cougars General Manager Helen Carter, John Dennis from sportKeighley and David Yates from Education Bradford.
Chairman Spencer said: “We’re delighted that Zabair has been able to join us. He has been one of the moving forces in the club’s growing relationship with the social housing providers Incommunities Ltd and brings another dimension of experience to the Foundation”.
Mr Rasul, 41, said: “I’m looking forward to working with the Cougars Community Foundation and creating initiatives that will assist in bringing about change for the better in the area”.
Mr Rasul’s career has been focussed on working with inner-city communities. He has worked in Bradford for the last ten years and before that he was based in Lancashire.
