Hi all Just to let you know match posters for the Rochdale game are being dropped off today so if any of you can help by putting them up in your village than that would be fantastic. We will do as much of town as possible but really need your help with this. I am intending to have them for every game so we can create a poster zone and have a datbase of willing shops/pubs etc who will display them for us. Fantastic idea, I remember my dad putting a lot of them up in Silsden back in the early 90's. Sorry to be pedantic but imagine I don't know much about the Cougars - where do they play their home games? The poster doesn't say and I can't really be bothered to phone up the number because I'm a young person who would rather look at things on the internet and avoid verbal contact with people whenever necessary. perhaps "Keighley Cougars" shold be slightly larger too? |

Therer's a big, eye-catching picture of a cougar on it! If nowt else, it'll hopefully make people read what's underneath. As for saying where the ground is, well, nothing at Cougar Park says 'this is cougar park' does it? I think a lot of folk know it's where the rugby league is played, the posters are aimed at getting them down there, letting them know that the club is alive and kicking. I hope a few more Silsdenites turn up, I had to go into at least three pubs with those posters...
