Well done cougars really dug in deep today , forwards made good yards especially shickell and Nicholson who again was awesome and my man of the match, think a bit of fatigue kicked in last 10 mins but all in all a scoreline I wouldn't of predicted before kick off I thought Blackpool looked off the pace, que leaguefan to rip me to pieces for posting positivley again.

All positive posts are good. We cant believe some of the fans though who call the players rubbish when a mistake is made clearly we have a good team and we all can moan and groan when things go wrong but to call them rubbish is out of order. I would have been happy if someone said before game we would win by 20 points. As usual the ref made some strange calls but to be fair he penalised head shots which was good to see. My man of match was george raynor followed by greg and shickel. Well done all the players.

A game of four quarters really. You had our excellent offloading and support play right across the park, some first class long distance bullet passes going straigh to hand and being caught. Then you had Blackpool who chose not to turn up and looked a fraction of the team we played at their place, then you had Blackpool put a spurt on to grab a couple of tried, then you Keighley get dead cocky, lazy, irresponsible (call it what you will) and we let another 12-16 points in.
We need the Keighley we saw which threw it around with accuracy, where the ball was played quickly and where each player supported the man next to him. Then we will beat anyone. We know we can do it.
In the second half Biss made a run, got up with the guys on his back played the ball, Will took the ball and got up quick and played the ball and between them made 25 very quick yards. Then the next two tackles there was no interest in getting up and playing the ball by which time Blackpool were set and already running at us, low and behold a meesley 4 yards gained. I would be peeved to do my bit then watch that.
Also (ohhh my soap box has arrived in the 9am UPS delivery), John Pressley is excellent but passes the ball to the next man far too soon. He is quite often 4-5 yards away from the tackle when he passes. No I know he is not a prop and not really designed to take tackles but the one time he waited longer to pass and drew the man in, we scored.
Also thought the pitch should have been soaked before the match.
Ref had an ok game but as others said he penalised high shots so that is good. He needed more help from the linesmen.

Just over 500. Thats not good.
With the traffic on the way in and the car park fuller than normal I was expecting 800-900 but agree quite dissapointing that so few turned up. Real shame really. Also you could not blame FA cup semi finals or other sports for the poor showing. I know Blackpool struggle with crowds and will not have bought many but that still only makes 400-450 cougars.
Hopefully it will pick up. We are playing well enough to deserve it.
