Post subject:  locking threads

wow its magic every time I post something which makes reference to the D word it gets locked. Its amazing we should all try it and see if it happens to everyone.
On another note it was interesting listening to radio leeds tonight to hear two coaches who's teams had similar results have such a different take on the games. Barry was so annoyed with the cougars for loosing the game in the first 20 minutes or so, you could hear it in his voice, he was talking about how it would have to change, yet B*ll*cks coach said how they had lots of positives to be taken from the game and how he was happy with the performance.
Personally I am glad to hear that our coach is annoyed, rather than the other way round.

Got to agree with you my friend , can our mods please explain why your post was locked regarding Dodgys 10k run ?

It surely is churlish, whatever our controversial little mate has posted to get himself banned off the board regarding the team , to lock anything that pertains to him raising charity money .At the end of the day the Guy has got off his booty and put himself out to support The Sue Ryder Cause and we should be supportive.

Bakewells post contained no bad language , no racist sexist or homophobic references , no slander or defrrmation of character so can you tell me why it was locked ????

Big Brother is watching you .......

Rach the post stated that dodgy would be at Swinton to collect money.

This message had clearly been passed on.

Thats why it was locked.

If a thread is locked it can still be seen.
So for you to make out we are trying to stop support for The Sue Ryder Cause is very wrong.

Sorry but don't buy that ....

I've plastered stuff all over the message board looking for support for charitable causes ,in a similar fashion before and never been banned or had posts locked.

On most boards you have people re-posting topics or 'bump' ing them to the top of the boards to get people to notice them, similar to what has been posted on the topic of the 10k,without them being locked .

To lock a post from a bone fide user (Bakewell) who has not broken the AUP , just because they mention a banned user, is to my mind unacceptable and goes against the grain of any message board

Go on ban me ... dare you..cause you dont agree with me :MOON:

As you point out Rach people bump posts up.
As you can also see i have now done that.

Any more postings about where he will be to collect money can go in that.

We do not need a separate one for every game he is going to be at.

Any more questions about the moderating of this site has to be done by pm.
