The under 18's are at home to Featherstone Lions Kickoff 1.30pm at Cougar Park.
The lads will be looking to follow up this weekends excellent win away at Gateshead winning 34-32. (yes i know league express says 36-34, but thats wrong). The Cubs tries were scored by both Copperwaite brothers, Callum Hudson, Sean Kelly, and a brace for Charlie Eccleston, while Hudson added 5 goals.
The game was played as a curtain raiser to the Gateshead v whitehaven Challenge Cup game and after the post match refreshments, were invited to watch that game, which was just as close, the home side winning 42-38. So anyone who saw both games got their moneys worth, with a total of 146 points scored and a brawl at the very end for good measure.
