Well Batleys play off game has not been postponed so I guess nothing has happened re the appeal

Play-offs are pretty much irrelevant.

Either Cougars get reinstated in the Championship or get at least the £75k compensation mentioned by Dreamer if they have to play in League 1.

Think the Cougar directors need to politely request a meeting with Brian Barwick/Nigel Wood (without lawyers) to see what can be agreed.

On the petition website the latest news suggests that Sheffield Eagles have thrown their lot in with us and will share costs if an appeal is made to the High Court. Anyone else heard that? Haven should join in too.

So what happens if whilst all this is going on, Batley end up winning the playoffs?? Can't see rfl doing what NRL did to Melbourne for salary cap breaches and revoking their titles, the don't have the integrity to do so.
