Just back from Dewsbury. What a very poor display. Only 4 players seemed to want to be there nevermind win. Very upset that one of our wingers seemed to find mistakes funny. !! We are true fans with season tickets for next season bought. Come on lads give us a whole hearted display next Sunday. Send Shick of on a high..
Yes there's still hope. If Batley beat Donny fair play really. Same if we beat Fev which is certainly possible. Looks like we are seriously off the boil though.
We just seem to have an inherent ability to commit suicide. Dewsbury played a better game than us, but to be honest that didn't take much. The amount of times we either gave the ball away, or a dumb penalty, gave them more pressure on our line than they would otherwise have had.
However, we had enough chances in the first half of our own, but either poor decision making or poor handling left us dry. We should have had at least one try, possibly two. That would have made the second half a real contest.
We upped the pressure in the second but repeatedly failed to put together any sort of fluent or co-ordinated attack with players often catching the ball flat footed. There were enough gaps in the Dewsbury defence for a man running onto the ball at full pace to penetrate.
I've thought about it for a couple of hours but remain pretty peed off, just bought two season tickets for next year and I expected the players to show the same level of commitment in return. Expected a blood and thunder display and got a damp squib.
Bloody well peed off.
