Thanks 'HC', but just to let you know the reason for my comments is BECAUSE I CARE!
I have supported Keighley RFLC and, more recently the Cougars for the past 54 years. How long have you been supporting the team?
March simply does not have the ability as a coach but, deferring to your far better knowledge, I will wait until the end of the season when, I truly hope, we will gain promotion and then offer you my sincere apologies for the criticism of your beloved coach.

My reference to the time that I have been a supporter of this (once decent) Club is that I have seen some good times and some great times (as well as seeing some GREAT coaches, some mediocre coaches and many POOR coaches) but Paul March isn't anywhere close to even cleaning the boots of some of our former coaches.
Dare I even ask: 'Where are we now?'
Simply (although I hate to admit to the fact that we are) a mediocre THIRD DIVISION Club!
Where are we?
4th in DIVISION 3, albeit with a decent 'Points Difference', which could take us up to 3rd but York have a game-in-hand over us.
It doesn't look as though we can or will overtake Toulouse or (even) Rochdale; so where will we finish the Season?
Hopefully (as I am the eternal optimist) with promotion but, with his track record, I trust that we will have a new coach next season.
How many chances does Paul March get?
Dare I even ask if his record is reflected in the attendances at Cougar Park? Better not ..... for fear of even more criticism.
With such a large squad, March has said that he needs to rotate the players, so why is (who can only be described as a 'Journeyman Rugby League Player') Cherryholme an 'ever-present' when other, better, more-consistent, proven try-scoring players are left on the touch-line or given the onerous task of being the 'water-carrier'?
There you go.
As for 'HC' and his comment about my posts: Well, just like the ever diminishing crowds at Lawkholme, if I didn't 'post' then there would be even fewer comments!
Are our former 'posters' leaving as our former supporters have? Check the stats!

No one has asked you to stop posting or that you are not allowed an opinion. I have never seen anyone overeact as much as you. Sometimes I think I should send you a Keighley Cougar Dummy
I think March will be gone if they do not go up and it would be deserved. If they go up I would only give him a year contract to prove himself.

Radical thought time!!! Players need to time a pass, tackle, run round a defender rather than through, draw a an opposition player into the wrong decision and have confidence that 13 men rathere than 6 can play the game. Also realise that the 40-20 rule is a godsend and would save so much energy. But head down booty up rugby always worked in the past so why change? Bear baiting, slavery and cave painting had their day as well, but somehow......
regards
and ENJOY your sport
