Keighley are not on their own in having a chairman under fire. Take a look across the other forums and you'll find chairman taking flak when the club does not perform to fans expectations.
"The chairmanship primary role is to ensure that the board is effective in its tasks of setting and implementing the companies direction and strategy"
He is the man at the top - to quote Harry S Truman, the buck stops here. If anything goes off target it up to the chairman, through the board of directors to put things right.
Fans have every justification for taking the chaiman to task when the club is not performing to plan, unless of course the plan is to perform like "headless chickens"
Incidentally I've nothing against Gary, I've talked to him on many occasions, but if you wear the hat, you take the flak, so to speak.
Anyway, I look forward to the team showing the fans what they can do by giving Newcastle a good game.

I have only been wrong once and thats because I thought I was wrong but I was wrong I was right!
Petty authoritarians aren’t man enough to challenge the actions of a person face to face; instead they incite a forum of rumour, innuendo and half truths, and impose rude sanctions to discourage those who dare question fairness.
To be honest, match was just scrappy from both sides, disgusting behaviour from Tiger calling the touch line judge a barsteward, March being sent off. Our non discipline was disgusting and an insult to the 200 fans that bothered to turn up. I am a stalwart rugby league fan and have pride in the fact that the disgraceful show that can be seen on a football pitch is not on a rugby pitch which has the acceptable banter on and off the terraces without swearing and is part of our family orientated sport. This was not acceptable.
