Not much happening today. Started really well and should have been further ahead.

First run out and result not important. Learn from the errors today and move on.

Soon be Monday.

I couldn't make it to Barrow today unfortunately. Results-wise on the positive side Barrow had a run out last week so were more match fit. Also the League, which is most important doesn't start until April so there's a little time to learn lessons. On the negative side it would've been nice to see a win for the first game of the season. Let's go and give Leigh a game next week!

Greetings my Furry friends, who is travelling to the LSV next week? We are in good form at the moment , and it will depend on what team we turn out next week, I'm hoping for a good following of Cougars fans.

Nice trip up to Barrow , has always been my favourite ground to visit and it is always great banter with the friendly fans whatever the result.
The first half was ok the second half just went belly up with Barrow wanting
the win more , good for them , they've had two good wins from two games
albeit friendlies....Kudos to them.

I hope the Keighley side learn from this game , sort out the silly errors
and now realise that being the bookies favourite ( or were) for promotion
is not an easy title to carry about.

As for our glorious leaders comment about being the fittest team in the league,
Well, I'm glad it was just a friendly and we can say they were just warming
up and 'gelling' .
The next time you want to put your foot in your mouth Gary just give us
a shout , my feet are a size 14 and might be a better fit.

On a lighter note , was impressed with the young lad on the wing , forget his
name , he is the trialist I think. Fantastic turn of speed and although not the biggest lad on thd field he's not afraid to tackle......one to watch methinks.

Thank you Barrow for a great day out.

Yes, me too. A lot of what I saw today reminded me of the more frustrating games of last season. Too many penalties conceded and too many handling errors, gifting Barrow the upper hand. A bit of work to do in defence methinks - nowt new there either really! We certainly looked a bit rusty; good job it was our first run out - plenty of time to pull it together before it all becomes much more meaningful. It's certainly not going to be a walk in the park.

We are from Keighley. We are NOT Bradfordians.

Andy Gabriel, he's from the 20's side. Very good winger and believe me, he can throw in hits that Props would be proud off.

That's him , think we may struggle to hold onto him when he gets two or three years on him ......what a cracking player......and can't half shift !
