Your opening post does you nor your club any credit at all. Of course you are frustrated, but l looked at this thread believing it do be about my club's response to the issue, not one that posted a very small minority view from supporters who may or may not be typical of Batley supporters. The second post is sadly just as much out of phase as the first.

It is a shame some Cougar fans are trying to alienate any sympathy other supporters have for them.

I wish them luck in persuing the RFL but not a spiteful vendetta against the several clubs who have cocked-up with DR.

Throughout the whole process I think the club (and fans) have conducted themselves with a great amount of professionalism and respect. I think Gary has even gone public in views that Batley are not the enemy and may have made a mistake, like many other if the stories are to be believed. The issues have come about because of the RFL mis-management and failure to adhere to there own published rules. Why an official from our club would resort to posting such items is poor and sadly reflects badly on the club. As far calling a minority of Batley fans is again poor form and a sad reflection to be honest. Maybe some learning to take forward.

If some want to call us, so be it. But to resort to this is not the way to conduct our business.

Perfectly put. Josh you are going to have to be more careful and let the case take care of itself. Make yourself bigger than them.

I like how Phildog acknowledges the luck element, indeed Batley have been very lucky. As i'd say in reverse we have been very unlucky . The general resentment we need to keep is with the RFL. I am still reasonably positive that we will get some acknowledgement for the unfairness from the RFL, money hopefully. Enough to pay for the legal case and a pot of paint for the north side of the wooden stand and half a bitter to calm burleycougars nerves as marchy takes to the field
