It looked very muddy under the snow, very soft but not waterlogged. It would take a massive frost tonight to freeze it to unplayable standards. Think its due to go to -2 and a bit of early sunshine so I would say its game on as it stands.
Not sure what the requirements are. Ive seen the pitch in worse conditions, its going to be a messy game. I think a recent Batley and Sheffield game were in atrocious conditions? no worse than that.
It was a great team effort. I spent 5 hours there shoveling. Went home completley 'cream crackered' But it will be worth it to see the game go ahead. The bad thing is, I won't able to help putting the snow back.

Yep completely massive effort from everyone involved ....From the forum recognized Dreamer , Cougar Red , Lawkholme Len , Noddy , AveBullsWon and Mr Baxter .. plus others ..... and Marchy , Gary ,Scott Leatherbarrow , Jeremy and Rawlo ..even a couple of the Sporting Chance Young people who were supposed to be doing an hour with Bren in the Gym but ended up snow shoveling..
Around a dozen Cougar fans from about 4 to late sixties plus Marchy, Gary Fawcett, Scott and Rollo sprung into action to beat the winter blues. Fantastic effort by all which shows Cougar people are pretty fantastic people when needed. Now let's do it in the match!!
