Think we need some new ideas to move club forward starting at the top. Think March has done well in his time at club. Personally think fawcett has taken us as far as he can as well

Start with the basics

1- Learn to tackle, not wrestle.
2- Learn to walk away, penalties cost.
3- Its easier to go round a brick wall than through it.
4- It uses less energy to pass a ball 10 metres than run 10 metres.
5 There are 13 players on the field who should know how to handle a rugby football.

Start from there and who knows.

Sometimes they say its better to let the dust settle before making any big decisions, but I think maybe its time up for Paul March to go. We need to rebuild and a freshening up of the playing rosta is required. Unfortunately, a lot of the rubbish has already been re-signed for next year which makes rebuilding difficult.

Its fair to say that a large majority of the players have gone stale or are simply not good enough to be championship standard. We don't want to be a yo yo team, and therefore need to get rid of players that are never going to be good enough. I'd rather give some young lads a chance.

I think the club needs to have a good look top to bottom on a strategy to be an established Championship team in 3/4 years.

Lets forget about all this Super League talk as its not going to happen without any serious investment from the owners. This is not a criticism of Gary Fawcett, personally I wouldn't want to pump money into something where your not going to get a return, but I believe there are certain things that could be done better from the current board to generate more cash / investment.

The death of Danny earlier in the season has been a massive blow to the club. No doubt without this tragedy, I believe we would have won the league and had a home game to win promotion, but you never know how these games can go. We've also had a lot of injuries to key personnel as the season has gone on.

I don't think the timing of Paul March's comments regarding Buster have help matters over the last few weeks. It really should have been kept 'in-house'. He never mentioned anything whilst allowing others to have holidays mid season.

He can only look at himself in our relegation season by getting himself banned for over half the season.

I only hope the club can make some big decisions and not let sentiment get in the way of moving forward.

Did you really mean to write that? I think that's very unfair. I think our team has not shown what it is really capable of this season with the exception of just a few games. It's been very frustrating to watch, knowing the team could play so much better. Perhaps it is time for the proverbial new broom to come in and sweep clean. The one-up rugby obviously does not work for us; we fans on the terraces can all see this quite plainly. As soon as we start to off-load, pass, play with a bit of urgency - it WORKS. Unfortunately by the time the penny drops we're usually playing catch up. This afternoon I don't think Whitey or Gabe carried the ball 'in anger' until Gabe's run near the end. They were both largely redundant before that. Why? They're both great wingers with speed to burn and on that pitch it should have been part of the plan to use them. The defensive effort in the second half was first rate; so what was the problem in the first half when it most definitely wasn't. That's where we lost it. Any new coach will have to work on that.

The rubbish...?

That looks suspiciously like the squad that successfully got the team relegated last season and successfully failed to get a cup or promotion this season.

The future looks..........

Where do we go from here?

Why did we not use the wide men at all yesterday? You would have thought on a big pitch we would have?

Got to say Widnes for a venue is very poor, hope theydon't have it there again. Not allowed to leave the ground well they have on everyother final and been allowed back in.

I thought it was poor to say see you in 2016 so soon after final hooter, what about the Danny Jones game? What about revised season ticket prices now in this league again? What is going on?

Soon be Monday.

As for yesterday it really could have gone either way,we almost won (and im sure their drop goal missed, the ref wanst even looking!)

I dont have a huge problem with being in League 1, but we need to get a quality strong team to get enough momentum to not only go up but to keep progressing. I think we'd be in bother next season if we'd have just scraped through, certainly dont like the idea of losing 80-0 to bradford twice.

One good player in each quarter is required. We have to sign a good half back, otherwise we have no chance of anything. I suspect Brooks is going to be a bit of a leatherbarrow im afraid. March has another year left, expect nothing but him to complete his contract otherwise the club will have to pay him a years salary. The directors shouldnt have offered him two years in the first place, but thats where we are I suspect
