NWC are being investigated for loan breach against Leigh.
[from twitter] @garethwalker13: The player in question understood to be Ryan Duffy, on loan at NWC from Leigh. Returned to LC to play in reserves final before Sun's game
Given they lost the game and were already relegated what punishement would you expect them to get?

Referees are like women, they make snap decisions and never reverse them.

They should be deducted 3 points.
Keep it consistent
From this season? Which won't make a difference, or next which could.

How? Deducting 3 points from NWC for this season will not affect the finishing positions or points totals of the teams you mention. Deducting 3 points for next season would be a greater punishment to NWC.

Ryan Duffy played for Leighs u 23s team last friday night in the competition final, then for NWC against Leighs 1 st team ( scoring 2 trys ) on sunday
I dont see where anybody could have gained any advantage here, Ryan hasnt been offered a contract at Leigh for next year and might well end up at NWC

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done But he with a chuckle replied That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried. So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin On his face. If he worried he hid it. He started to sing as he tackled the thing That couldn’t be done, and he did it!
I'm presuming it's still against the rules? As you say it's not particularly relevant but if it remains unpunished then it sets a precedent for future loan player infringements being unpunishable.
