Although I acknowledge the sincerity of the players wishing to support the family of Danny Jones and would never criticise them for it; but was it the wisest of decisions to play a 24-hour golf marathon so close to one of the most-important games of the season?
24 hour golf, Danny Jones es induction into the hall of 36 hours before one of the biggest games of the season. Why weren't these 2 things done at the end of the season. I'm sure that Inducting Danny Into the hall of fame would have been a fitting tribute to season end and even more so if we had been promoted. I also heard that Paul March was on holiday last week, how unprofessional is that.

It wasn't good - a real off-day when we never really got going and nothing seemed to go right. In contrast, the Cru never put a foot wrong all afternoon; they looked sharper, quicker and much more 'up for it'. If we end up in a play-off situation at the end of this season I would hope it wouldn't be against them. That's three times I've seen us play them and we've struggled each time. Other than the performance and the result, it wasn't such a bad day, I'd wanted to go to a game in Wrexham for a while. Well done to the Cru fans, they really give their team good support and the half time entertainment from the Welsh choir and their Polish guests was top notch. . Edit: Forgot to say how impressed I was with Dallimore at 7 for Cru. Those high kicks must have been a nightmare for Jesse.
