I see they scored tries for Hunslet today. The board should have insisted that the coach attached more importance to keeping those two for this year rather than bringing in his brother don't you think?

Most people on this forum and supporters thought Barnet was a liability.
Cosgrove was injured for a large percentage of the time he was us.
Okay they've scored tries today and my score many more this season.
Maybe the coach and directors thought this league was going to be easier than its starting to look.
Me personally I think around a 4th place finish is best we can hope for and sneak back up through the play offs.
In these sort of divisions you need some luck and to keep players fit.
Keep fingers crossed that we get a bit of both.
Just a quick note to Gary. Stop talking nonsense about being in Super League because after the 5 year plan were further away from Super League than we ever could be.
When we hit the heights that Leigh have done then start talking it up.

Richie won't be scoring many more tries for the Hawks.

To my understanding he will be one of the eight Hawks sent to Hemel on Dual Registration.

Richie on form was/is a good player.
But he was a scape goat for a section of fans.
We seem to have a player every year who is one.

Pretty fair statement.

Richie was capable of scoring every game but on his "off" days made some howlers and could be frustrating to watch. He was always prepared to work hard and run it out in defence and was difficult to stop. I thought it was shocking the way some of the crowd got on his back.
Cosgrove was similar, had some stormers but also some v quiet games.

Would have been happy to keep them both but could also see why we let them go. It may be that we had no say in their departure.

I have only been wrong once and thats because I thought I was wrong but I was wrong I was right!

Petty authoritarians aren’t man enough to challenge the actions of a person face to face; instead they incite a forum of rumour, innuendo and half truths, and impose rude sanctions to discourage those who dare question fairness.

Anon.
