Just been reading today's League Express. The RFL have given the green light for Catalans to sign Todd Carney but they've imposed a condition that the Dragons have to pay a £50,000 bond should Carney breach the RFL's operational rules. Wow, that's a significant wedge of cash to fork out for a breach of the RFL's operational rules. The RFL is clearly keen that its operational rules are not breached...... unless of course they fancy doing it themselves. In which case that will be perfectly fine. Move along, nothing to see here...
