Dewsbury Rams will be safe from relegation heading into the weekend's fixture away at the Batley Bulldogs. Sheffield Eagles will need to avoid defeat against Whitehaven to be safe from relegation. Keighley Cougars will need to defeat North Wales Crusaders with Batley Bulldogs losing to be safe from relegation. Workington Town will need to defeat Barrow Raiders with Batley Bulldogs losing to be safe from relegation. Whitehaven will require seven points from the last nine available to be guaranteed safety, however will be safe should Batley Bulldogs fail to better there points gain from the final three fixtures by three points. Batley Bulldogs will need to better Whitehaven's points gain from the final three fixtures by three points to be guaranteed safety.
A victory for Whitehaven at Sheffield with defeat for Batley at home to Dewsbury would mean the Bulldogs need to win there final two fixtures with Whitehaven losing both without requiring a single point to avoid relegation.

Yes very impressive - if far too complicated for my feeble brain. The key thing is that Cougars need to beat North Wales and then we are ok, and Batley basically are stuffed. But there could still be a lot more twists and turns.....
