A friend of mine has given me football manager 2008 version and Im seriously struggling for wins and infact draws lol! Any help that you can give me on training methods and formations will be greatly appreciated Reguards |

Wow. After CM 96/97 and 01/02, this is my favourite footy manager game. I cant really remember much about training, but get your best headerer to mark their keeper at corners, get a good corner taker and sdet corners to 6 yard box. That will get your ball heading centre half 15-20 goals per season ha. Get Alex Fernandex the striker in at the start. Will go to a L2 club but comfortably will score 20 goals a season in the prem. |

I think this is the version on which I regularly signed Ashley Grimes on loan from Man City for Stevenage and he and Steve Morison ran riot in the Conference. |

Sign a young keeper from Millwall reserves called Preston Edwards. He'll be an England player in 4 or 5 years. Try and get some out of favour players on loan.You might get some of them on 0% wages contribution. |
