As the new season is minutes away I thought it was time for a new thread.

Week 1 of the Premiership predictions competition is also now open, and there's the full season football prediction competition too.

Hull created enough chances to win tonight. Another striker is needed otherwise it could be the same story as last season.

City were crap tonight, nothing ever changes with my club, even after a pre-season of optimism.

Surely it changed when you got promoted to the top division for the first time and started winning at places like Newcastle and Arsenal? What were you moaning about then!

We were crap. Ormerod was god awful and Grandin did nowt. We created more chances once Billy Clarke came on.

Saw enough of Hull to think you could do alright this year though, was very impressed with Robbie Brady.

On another night a couple of those chances would go in the back of the net and yo'd have hammered us.

Finally football is back, come on Wednesday, desperately need more strikers, hopefully we can mount a decent bid for Le Fondre because Clinton Morrisson is terrible!
