I'm far from being the greatest dog judge in the world ES but Rayvin Geovanni looks an absolute beast of a dog - going to Brough Park for the All England Cup IIRC.

Seen now NTD says the Commander will go for the Betfair, then the King George, before attempting to defend his Gold Cup.

Why bother sending him to the King George? The twice he has ran in it, he has finished at least 57 lengths behind Kauto Star. Kempton isn't his track at all. Surely there is another race for him somewhere to get him ready for Cheltenham, where they would also stand a chance of winning a few quid.

The Lexus at Leopardstown? Leopardstown is left handed, like Cheltenham, which Imperial Commander enjoys a lot more than the right handed track at Kempton.

Little novice chase to savour at Exeter tomorrow, Celestial Halo makes his bow over fences. Couldn't back him at the odds though, theres always the chance he could fall if something makes a race of it.

Forgotten Army could be worth a small e/w investment in the lucky last at Lingfield tomorrow! There's a couple of pieces of form in the horses profile to entitle it to go very close tomorrow off a lowly mark of 58. There's obviously more poor efforts than good ones in there, but Mark Tompkins trains his horses on a polytrack surface so the horse could handle Lingfield well and possibly go well at a price?

Might be worth checking Tompkins website in the morning to see what they say about the horses chances....

Exeter 4.40 Foreign King 14/1 E/W

Should be fitter then most of these having run okay over hurdles recently and won on the flat, won here last time over fences.

I agree which is why I think Tudor Prince could be a real player in next years Derby as he has good form against Geovanni but is three times his price.

Unfortunatly this year's Derby showed they are not machines as Eye On The Storm looked potentially one of the greats but breaks down in the first round and has to be carried off into retirement.

Would not put anyone off Rayvin Geovanni but I think ante post the boat has been missed for now and I doubt him or any other greyhound will be lower than 8 or 10/1 when the Derby begins and as he has yet to have much racing the hectic Derby month might not suit him as he has been handled with kid gloves so far. Until he competes regularly through competitions the jury has to be out.

As for the All England Cup that is his real test and even Eye On The Storm was not so highly tried this early in his career but if he comes through that with flying colours then yes he is the real deal and my idea 20/1 is a tad short could be blown out of the water.

Ffos Las 3.40 Night Lily @ 10/1 E/W

Running well lately until tried in a tough Class 1 race, likes firm ground and decent claimer puts it in with an even better chance.

Ffos Las 4.45 Pastoral Player @ 7/1 E/W

Back to a mark where it ran best to of 98 been in lots of big field handicap races this year and now dropped in class into a smaller field which could help alot.

Navan 5.25 Alburj @ 9/1 E/W

Backed it when it won last time after thinking Weld must rate it to send it to Ascot for the Queens Vase giving it another go.
