Good luck to FC Halifax Town, the path back to where we belong is a long one

Carry on.

Already the bookies hot favourites but I guess what sort of squad Northwich can get together is key.

I expect Chasetown to surprise a few and perhaps be pushing for a play off place.

Farsley AFC have risen from the ashes of Farsley Celtic and managed to keep a decent amount of players,. despite having to play in the Koolsport somethingorother league.

I expect the likes of FC United, Northwich, Bradford Park Avenue to be up there with us. there are always a couple of teams that noone expects to come up on the rail.

I am not being big headed but i expected us to be one of the favourates despite just being promoted, i did expect FC United to be joint favourates, i wonder why the bookies don't see them as a real threat.

3 seasons though for Halifax at this level and we have been favourates every season so far, its nice to be a big team for once in these levels.

You support Ilkeston don't you if i remember right, what league are they in now??? how are there preperations for the new season????

Yep Conference North doing well in pre-season and the main striker has been playing for Derby on trial but is back now so hopefully he will kick on this season and show he has that sort of potantial.

Only cloud on the horizon is an unpaid tax bill (and I'm sure there are many more of them pending up and down the country but if they can get that sorted they should be fine). New owners blame the old regime etc but how close they are to settling it I am not too sure.

ah yes we have had our problems with the tax man in the past,

yeah teams are scouting the non leagues now trying to get good players at a low cost.

our main striker that scored 40 golas last season, there were rumours Bradford City were after him and he turned them down, how much truth there is in that i don't know

Fair play to him if he did and even if he did not it might dent the oppositions confidence coming into facing you.

The unbeaten league run at the shay last season last season will have done that, plus only suffering 2 defeats in the whole of last season, they will already be concered well i am hoping they are anyway

Your convincing me, just a shame the odds are a bit short but I guess a double with Sutton United in the Ryman might not be a bad way to turn a tenner into £300 as they look a touch stronger than the rest of their rivals.
