Aye, girlfriend told me about that.

United got the result needed tonight, glad de Laet got a start, he did really well, strong in the tackle and good going forward.

Carrick once again filled in at centre half and did another top quality job. Vidic was superb too, bullet header for the second, before going off midway through the second half. Rooney was much improved on Saturday, but he couldn't have been much worse. Gibson and Scholes both did very well in the middle, although Gibson was lucky to not get sent off IMO.

Our major problem is Kusczazck. He's not a bad shot stopper, but he's fooking useless at punching the ball, on two/three occasions he caused more trouble with pathetic girly punches than Wolves did all game. The worst part of his game however, has got to be his distribution. He is quite possibly the worst kicker of a football that I've seen, he reaches touch / the opposition than he does his teammates. I've never seen anybody so uncomfortable with the ball at his feet, and the amount of time he takes to throw the ball is shocking. There's no super quick breaks when he's caught the ball.

Valencia and Obertan had very quiet games, although Valencia's goal was a good one, especially the build up play, and great touch / final ball from Berbatov. Joint top, now we pray for a Pompey miracle.

Liverpool must've shared the title with Arsenal in 89 then. That puts them on 19, still one ahead of utd

I'd imagine there will be a lot of fall out following big Mick's decision to make 10 changes. Sounded like Utd stuttered their way through the game but a clean sheet and three points is job done. Lovely third goal, great build up and a cracking finish.

I very much doubt that Wolves will be punished, the days of having to play your strongest team are long gone. It will be interesting to see if Wolves offer refunds to their travelling fans.
